Frequently Asked Questions
The outer carton can be recycled (remember to remove the handle and dispose of in the bin).
We suggest you keep the included dust cover, as it can be a great way to store your Joey Baby Mattress If you don't have plans to use it for an extended period of time.
We recommend you store the mattress flat (not on its side or bent) in a dry place away from moisture or other sources that are commonly known to be a breeding ground for mould and other nasties.
To remove the Joey Baby Mattress cover, unzip the zipper, which can be found on the underneath side of the mattress. Pull off and remove. Make sure you only remove the outer cover (as the inner water resistant cover is not designed to be removed).
You can wash the cover in your machine on a cold cycle with a mild detergent, then line dry in the shade. Please don't use any bleach, and do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the cover.
To refit the cover, place the top four corners on the top of the mattress and pull down, flip the mattress over and ensure the bottom 4 corners are over the bottom of the mattress. Close the zip, and secure the zipper puller under the tab, ensuring it is not exposed.
The Joey Baby Mattress is intended for babies aged 3 months to when they are observed attempting to climb out of the cot and looking like they might succeed.
This usually occurs when the baby is between 2 and 3 1⁄2 years of age but could be as early as 18 months.
